G11 Lifting equiptment - Module 2.3

The course is designed for personnel who will use lifting gear in their work situation. The course is basic for anyone who is, or will be, crane operators. For offshore the course corresponds to O-1.1. The course presupposes completed and passed theory module 1 - common theory.

G11 Lifting equipment module 2.3
The purpose of the training is to provide crane operators, hooks / straps and signal transmitters with good general basic training in the safe use of lifting equipment, so that accidents and accidents in connection with the use are avoided.
 
Are you going to work with lifting equipment in connection with a lift, crane or rig? Are you going to become an expert inspector of lifting equipment? Then it is mandatory to have taken a sling and sling course first. The course is intended for personnel who are to use lifting equipment in their work situation.
 
Prerequisites:
- Module 1 - Work environment, responsibilities and consequences
- You must have turned 17 years old before starting the course. Certificates of competency will be issued at the age of 18.
 
The course is built as follows:
Module 2.3 - 16 school hours, theory
The course is completed over 2 days.

•    HES – Health, Environment and Safety
•    Competence control
•    The Structure of Lifting Equipment
•    Classification Rules for Lifting Equipment
•    Wire rope, chain slings, fiber slings and shackles, etc.
•    The Use of Lifting Tables
•    Signals and Signs
•    Weight Assessment
