The course provides a basic theoretical and practical introduction to the safe use of mobile elevating work platforms A+B.
Mobile elevating work platforms A+B
The purpose of the personal lifter course is to give people who work at height with mobile elevating work platforms knowledge about safe use, maintenance and daily control.
It must be possible to use the mobile elevating work platforms so that accidents are avoided. After completing the course, the participant must be able to operate a mobile elevating work platform in such a way that he / she is not a danger to himself or herself or his / her work colleagues, and that the equipment is used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions
Mobile elevating work platforms class A: Trailer-mounted mobile elevating work platforms
Mobile elevating work platforms class B: Self-propelled mobile work platforms
Prerequisites:
- Participant must be 18 years of age or older.
The course is built as follows:
7.5 school hours theory and practice
The course are completed over 1 day.
This Course Covers:
• The necessity for training
• Accidents which have occurred
• A short introduction to laws and regulations
• Classes of passenger lifts
• Construction and method of operation
• Proper use and installation of passenger lifts
• Inspection and maintenance of passenger lifts
• Passenger lifts' documentation and instruction manual
